September 4, 2007 -

With just over three weeks until the 2007 Aruba Poker Classic kicks off, ARubaClassic today announced a major addition to their signature poker event.

On October 1st, the event will host WSOP® Academy Aruba Edition, an exclusive Texas Hold'em training boot camp. The 4-hour long session features some of poker's biggest names including Phil Hellmuth, Annie Duke, Jim "KrazyKanuck" Worth, Mark Seif, Shawn Rice, and Mark "Poker H0" Kroon to name a few.

The pros will offer attendees an assortment of strategies and tips specific to the structure of the Aruba Poker Classic Main Event. The session is especially useful for those online poker players who have never played in a major land-based Texas Hold'em tournament and are looking to take their game to the next level.

WSOP® Academy Aruba Edition - a $995 value - is free for those playing in the 2007 Aruba Poker Classic Main Event. What's more, all attendees will receive $300 off a future WSOP® Academy training camp and four players will walk away with their next training camp entry entirely paid for.

The 2007 Aruba Poker Classic takes place at the Radisson Aruba Resort & Casino from September 29th through October 6th. Along with an estimated $2.5 million prize pool, the weeklong event offers online poker players the opportunity to celebrate their successes at the tables with fellow Texas Hold'em players and with the industry's best professionals. Past Aruba Poker Classic attendees have included Phil Hellmuth, Annie duke, Jennifer Tilly and Phil "The Unabomber" Laak.

Online poker players can win an $8,500 Aruba prize package for as little as $5. The prize package includes the $5,500 main event seat and $3,000 for travel and accommodations.
