Private Jet Links Aruba Poker Classic with WPT Turks & Caicos

September 11, 2007-

The 2007 Aruba Poker Classic could turn out to be one of online poker’s biggest land-based events thanks to another tournament on a neighboring island and an express shuttle linking the two events.

Organizers today announced that it has opened up its private jet to those playing in the WPT Turks & Caicos Poker Classic.

For only $550, WPT Turks & Caicos players looking to extend their winning streak can head to Aruba for the 2007 Aruba Poker Classic. The less than two-hour flight will appeal to those WPT Turks & Caicos players who want to play in the signature Aruba tournament and partake in a week of exclusive parties and events without making the eleven-hour trek through Miami.

The 2007 Aruba Poker Classic takes place at the Radisson Aruba Resort & Casino from September 29th through October 6th. Matt Savage, one of the world’s most respected tournament directors, is on board to oversee the event.

Along with an estimated $2.5 million prize pool, the weeklong event offers online poker players the opportunity to celebrate their successes at the tables with fellow Texas Hold'em players and with the industry's best professionals. Past Aruba Poker Classic attendees have included Phil Hellmuth, Annie Duke, Jennifer Tilly and Phil "The Unabomber" Laak.

Main Event participants will also gain free access to WSOP® Academy Aruba Edition, a 4-hour long Texas Hold'em strategy session featuring Annie Duke, Phil Hellmuth and some of poker's biggest names.
